Programs
During the school year we provide a recreation-based program designed to fill time gaps before and after school with creative and constructive activities for kids. The YMCA participates in the 21st Century Grant program through Greenville ISD.

Our After School Care program is designed to provide a safe environment for school age children while providing what kids need developmentally to become successful young adults. Our program is licensed and inspected by the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services. Our staff is trained in CPR and First Aid, as well as, positive discipline, conflict resolution, child development, and age appropriate activities. We keep a maximum ratio of 20 children to 1 staff member.

The Greenville YMCA after school care program currently services all GISD Elementary Schools. The YMCA curriculum focuses on the following subject areas: fitness and wellness, literacy, science and technology, homework, character development, social competency, conflict resolution, and arts and humanities.
